ABSTRACT
Financial and scholarly productivity pressures on faculty members are not uncommon. Unfortunately, such sources of tension can lead to engaging in activities that are ethically questionable. This chapter presents examples of how instructors can misuse students, often when they rationalize their actions in the course of fulfilling their own needs.
