ABSTRACT
In Chapter 4, we wrote that when disaster strikes, the job of PR isto assess the situation and the damage quickly, to assemble all thefacts and background information, and to offer them to the news media, along with the “public’s” response. This practice becomes increasingly complex when a large population is involved and when a hostile group is suspected of criminal activity.
