ABSTRACT

About a century ago, Freud said that the mark of adulthood was the achievement of satisfaction through work, sex, and family. Although some of Freud's ideas have fallen from the preeminent position they held in years past, most people would agree with his statement about adulthood. With regard to work, no one would deny that for many people, having a career is one of the highest priorities in life. That, after all, is the ultimate goal toward which you have been striving.
