ABSTRACT
Parenting is a source of comfort for us and at the same time a source of frustration for many of us. All of us expect that parenting will come naturally and we are not prepared for the tasks that are ahead. We basically respond to children as we were responded to by our own parents. This may be good and also not as good as we desire. It is important to be aware of many of the pitfalls that parents face as they attempt to rear children to be functioning adults.
