ABSTRACT
Parent education is an organized effort with clear content, target population, and goals aimed at enhancing or changing parental role performance (Harman and Brim, 1980). Parent education as presented in this chapter is directed at educational efforts that attempt to enhance or facilitate parent behaviors that will influence positive developmental outcomes in their children.
