ABSTRACT
In this chapter, theory and research will be presented that is directly relevant to various constructs in the causal model when lower graders are involved. The research evidence presented in this chapter was not presented in earlier chapters for two reasons: (a) the data involved distal causes instead of proximal causes in the causal model, or (b) the data involved constructs that were neither distally nor proximally related in the causal chain.
