Ms. Woolf: Yeah, that looks fine. Then this would be your night sky, you know, coming down to this point, and then this is just the ground going back.
This vignette illustrates how freedom, form, and feedback intersect in students’ representational work. Frank used what he knew about form to create a “border line,” a tool artists use to express perspective. He freely
expressed his choice of topic for his artistic representation through a landscape, and he received feedback from both Ms. Woolf and Kane.
