ABSTRACT
Some of the Novial prefixes are simply prepositions, and will be treated under that heading. It is well worth noting, that in accordance with other LA.L.s Novial has the form kun for the preposition 'with' in order to avoid conflicts with the great many international words beginning with con-, com-or cor-, in which the meaning of 'with' is completely or nearly obliterated. By the side of the preposition ante, rarely used as a prefix, we have the prefix PRE-, which is of a wider application: previda foresee,prenome Christian (first) name,prehistorie,presavo foreknowledge, prepaga prepay, prelasti last but one, preyer the day before yesterday.
