ABSTRACT

It is not too often in education that we get two of anything for the price of one! In the partnership between Delano Joint Union High School District and National University, this is exactly what occurred. Forty-one high school teachers and administrators learned crucial teaching strategies (product) for reaching language minority students and at the same time acquired internet skills (process) for classroom use. An added bonus was that the educators created their own home pages to integrate the WWW into the CLAD (Cross Cultural Language Academic Development) curriculum.
