ABSTRACT
Remember when you really thought you had something if your computer hardware included a 120-MB hard drive, with a 16-MHz operating system? Somehow the marvels of the past just do not work for us today. Life is complicated. As soon as your writing lab updates its software, you will find out that your computer’s version of Microsoft Word is no longer compatible. Try as we might to assimilate into the new (i.e., to the improved) somehow we are never able to keep up.
