ABSTRACT

Cindy Cone has been in public education for the past 27 years; she has spent the majority of that time as an elementary classroom teacher. When her school district received its first personal computer more than 20 years ago-a 64k TRS 80 without a hard drive-she eagerly volunteered to be the one to try it out. She’s been interested in the problems and possibilities of integrating technology into the curriculum ever since. She is currently coordinator of curriculum for a school district in southwestern Ohio. She received her PhD in education and women’s studies from The Union Institute.
