ABSTRACT
It is not our task here to review the full range of situations arising from colonial economies, which take on a ‘racial’ character. What concerns us is the fact that problems arise when people from colonial economies and, more generally, black people, find their way to the cities of metropolitan countries, and seek to enter the roles of industrial worker and citizen which are available to them.
