ABSTRACT
We live in a world of unlike people. Myriad sexes, ethnicities, classes, and nationalities,
among other classificatory systems, determine the unlikeness of our world. Within this
diverse spectrum are included individuals with disabilities. People with disabilities add an
interesting dimension to our social world, in that they adopt a unique set of discursive
practices to adapt and construct their social environment.
