Early Perception of Social Contingencies and Interpersonal Intentionality: Dyadic and Triadic Paradigms

Studies of mother-infant interactions have come to a turning point. Rather than consisting mainly of anecdotal reports, they have started to produce data. Just as the creation of experimental paradigms such as habituation generated a shift in the study of early perception and physical cognition, the creation of experimental designs in the area of early social interactions is changing the landscape.
