ABSTRACT
Architects give a city expression. Planners may decide its 'bone structure', but it rests with architects to put a smile on its face. Unfortunately the style of so much contemporary building communicates very little joy. It is either negative or positively grim-faced and aggressive towards its unwilling neighbours.
