ABSTRACT

One of the characteristics of architects is that they are congenital 'dreamers of dreams'. Maybe it is that particular psychological bias which makes them opt for this profession. Beneath a business-like and technically sophisticated facade lurks a romantic, one who cannot resist playing with imagery and symbolism. Unfortunately this predisposition does not always serve the best interests of people in cities.
