ABSTRACT
Pam’s inquiry involved developing her own version of a writing workshop for her first graders. It had two major emphases: how to help her students write with voice, and how to teach them skills in the process. Her writing workshop was an hour long and included various subactivities; she explains all of these in her chapter. There were many ups and downs in her journey and she explains these as well.
