ABSTRACT
YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Nobody has all the answers, and the teaching of science will continue to evolve as teachers reflect on their practice in the light of new ideas.The purpose of this chapter is to consider how teachers can work together with science subject leaders within their own schools to develop teaching and learning in science.Science subject leaders in school have specific responsibilities, and we will outline and explain these, but the emphasis of this chapter is on how a relationship between teachers and subject leaders can be based on dialogue and collaboration.
