ABSTRACT
Each entry begins with an exact transcription of the books as they are listed in the inventory. I have numbered each entry in bold in order to provide a running tally. Not all of the entries, however, contain identifiable titles as many of them represent bound manuscripts (for example, nos. 18, 228–230, 261) or untitled collections of engravings (nos. 1–3,120). Moreover, some of the entries do not contain enough information to identify the book in question. The bookseller's task was to assign a value to Blondel's library. The number following the entry shows the price given to the book in livres tournois (lt) or sols. Often the bookseller would price a number of books together as a group. The value given to each of these series follows the last book contained in it.
