ABSTRACT

The purpose of this book is to provide the reader with an integrative and comprehensive theory in guiding his or her clinical practice. Most of this text is pragmatically oriented. We inform the reader how to go about diagnosing and treating, with many resources such as tables, graphs, flow charts, and implementation strategies. The use of this information needs to be guided by a theory that can be translated into practice. The Intersystems approach that we have developed gives the clinician this guide.
