ABSTRACT

Psychosocial treatments that work with clients in a multimodal and a multilevel configuration can be both more involved and more time consuming, as well as oftentimes more comprehensively effective. Pressures and demands on the field of social work and social workers to meet the disparate needs of a rapidly changing client base within an even more rapidly changing culture and social system are at an all time high. The emphasis on effective and rapid interventions is acute. There is no perfect answer to this situation. At best, it will be managed through the slow progress of trial and error from the dedicated patience and perseverance of this field’s professionals.
