Uneven Developments - Women’s Studies in Higher Education in the 1990s

These triumphalist narratives have served us - and by ‘us’ I mean women working in women’s studies - well, both psychologically in terms of helping to decrease our sense of marginalization, and strategically within education: on their backs we have argued for the establishment of women’s studies courses and for the creation of women’s studies posts.
