ABSTRACT
A case study is an individual, written exercise that calls for the participant to read a complex set of materials and prepare a written report. This simulation exercise is also known as an analysis problem exercise because it places a premium on the ability to understand a wide variety of written information (including quantitative and qualitative data), note patterns in the data, identify the important problems embedded in a complex situation, and recommend solutions.
