ABSTRACT

In this chapter, we start with the assumption that the user wishes to obtain assessments from more than one simulation. Then we raise the question: When an arrangement of several exercises are set up, should these simulations be separate in the sense that each one is set in a different organization and has different names and problems, or should the several activities be integrated into one larger simulation set in a single organization? Up this point in the book we have, for the most part, discussed each exercise separately. In a few places we have referred to ways that the information from one exercise can be carried over to another form of assessment. For example, we have alluded to the arrangement in which the results of a case study can be subsequently be presented to an audience or used as the starting point for a group discussion. In this chapter we further pursue the idea of linking assessment activities into a much more elaborate format.
