ABSTRACT

In this chapter, we expand on our description of the experimental method that we began in chapter 9 to introduce a number of experimental designs. As we do in all of the methodology chapters that compose this second part of the text, we present a relatively brief overview of the methodology itself, followed by an example of how it might be applied in schools (or other agencies and organizations). We also present an example of an actual study conducted by researchers using the methodology, followed by our critique of the study. We then provide a few activities that will allow you to experience using some aspect of the methodology yourself.
