ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we introduce another form of experimental research—that which involves primarily the study of one or a few individuals rather than groups. We briefly describe the nature of single-subject research and then present an example of how it might be applied in schools (or other agencies and organizations). We then present a published example of single-subject research, followed by an activity to enable you to experience using some aspect(s) of the methodology yourself.
