ABSTRACT
Professional football at all levels is concerned with the achievement of victory over opponents, hopefully in a manner that is pleasing to the spectator. It is often stated about soccer that it is ‘a game of opinions’ and no doubt many coaches and managers have based and will continue to base, strategy and tactics on their own opinions.
