ABSTRACT
I have recently completed fourteen years of academic administration, and have moved into a university professor position that allows me maximum freedom for teaching and scholarship and working more closely with other faculty in faculty seminars.’ I have also been named chancellor of the university, which extends a privilege I enjoyed formerly as provost, of representing the university to various external publics.
