ABSTRACT

This chapter attempts to help teachers and managers at all phases and levels of responsibility to find answers to the key questions below. So, rather than address subject-specific considerations, it examines the principles underpinning them. Hopefully, therefore, a maths co-ordinator in a primary school will find it as helpful and thought-provoking as a head of a drama department in a secondary school. There are many more common cross-phase curriculum management issues than there are differences, and these are the ones to be explored here.
