ABSTRACT

It’s Hallowe’en. For children in primary grades, this is the day they’ve been working towards since the last mouthful of cranberries and turkey was swallowed on October 14th. For me, a member of Queen’s Pilot Program, it was a day that had lost a little of its shine from being away from the classroom for the last four school days, while attending the

professional discussions at McArthur Hall. That is, the shine was lost until this afternoon when I set foot in the school that has been my second home for the last eight weeks.
