ABSTRACT
In this, penultimate chapter we want to focus on the end points of the research process. We have already given some consideration to the early stages of doing research in Chapter 2. Here, we shall revisit this phase by looking at the first steps in developing some initial ideas for small-scale research projects. We also want to give some attention to the terminal point in the research process, which is the construction of an account of your work. These two phases are of necessity separated in time. But they logically go together as the portals into and out from your research activity.
