ABSTRACT
LOGO and turtle graphics are widely appreciated as important elements in work in ICT in primary classrooms. Many references to such work are contained in the National Curriculum (mathematics, technology, science) and teachers who have worked with children in this area report enthusiastically on the benefits for children both in their development of cognition, their confidence and, by the mode of working, their ability to cooperate in problem solving situations.
