ABSTRACT
It is usually one of the major tasks of any coordinator to provide a framework for structuring the school policy for the area of the curriculum for which the coordinator is responsible. This policy has to be translated into action and then subjected to regular review. Edmonds and Manford (1996) provide a very useful list of points to guide you, as the coordinator, in developing your school’s policy for science.
