ABSTRACT

We said in Chapter 1 that science coordinators should not see themselves as working alone and without support. There are various materials and resources that can help you in your role. What follows in this chapter is a summary of those most readily available but, inevitably, the list cannot be complete. Commercially produced schemes, for example, have not been included although we recognise that some provide very good support materials which you can use to help teachers turn ideas into reality. They also give structure to planning and assessment.
