Medium-term planning is used to ensure coverage of the Programmes of Study and Learning Objectives. It matches NC curriculum statements to appropriate activities and resources, including IT, for children. It is often organised to demonstrate the school has planned for continuity and progression and is written in sufficient detail to provide teachers with a scheme of work.
