The child: • responds to music with movement and can match movements
to the overall mood, dynamic and tempo of the piece; • can improvise movements for music work with freedom and
imagination, using some variety of movement vocabulary; • has some skills for music movement work: can stop and start
with control, and move in space with awareness for others.
