ABSTRACT
In the previous chapter, very little was said specifically about educational research, although in the discussion of research in general, examples from the field of education were cited wherever it was appropriate. We also considered some of the differences between the natural and social sciences. The present chapter attempts to map out the domain of educational research to enable the reader to have a better understanding of the nature and process of educational research which follows in the next chapter.
