ABSTRACT
Two elements comprising teacher education: the content, that is the subject matter, some of which the teacher will be expected to teach, and the method of teaching that content can immediately be identified. The location, the place where content and method are taught for the specified duration of the teacherpreparation course, is the third, which is not so readily recognized. This tripartite division gives an emphasis to important aspects of teacher education not named so far.
