ABSTRACT

This chapter continues the outline of the initiation phase of the process of building an ethical school. Again, this does not represent the only way of building an ethical school. Rather, it illustrates in some detail how one process might work out. Local circumstances may dictate an alternative process. This chapter outlines how the working committees, under the guidance of the steering committee, engage in a self-study and, based on that, how they design possible new learning activities to enable that school more intentionally to engage in ethical education. The chapter goes on to explore possible phased implementation plans and concludes with a possible time frame for this initiation phase.
