ABSTRACT
One, two, three or more e-tivities can be used within any kind of learning programmes, blended with other methods and techniques of teaching or combined with other online resources in a wide variety of ways. In the Open University, online tutorials and seminars are commonly used to replace face-toface meetings of students, or in addition to them. E-tivities work well and are enjoyed by students if combined with lectures on a university campus. The large business school at Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland is pioneering this approach for undergraduates.
