ABSTRACT
The Curriculum 2000 reforms aimed to broaden programmes of study while retaining depth, to make advanced level achievement more accessible and to raise the status of full-time vocational qualifications. This chapter looks at changes to learner programmes brought about by these reforms and assesses how far the aims of Curriculum 2000 have been achieved following two years of implementation.
