ABSTRACT
Any head will tell you that there are many appalling CVs; this is probably a major reason why so many schools send out application forms instead. The greatest failings with CVs are that they are too long and, quite frankly, boring; they list so many details that the important things are obscured. In this chapter we will concentrate on producing an allpurpose CV that covers no more than two sides of A4-sized paper. Guidance will be given on how to produce your own, with exemplars for teachers at different stages of their careers.
