ABSTRACT
Much of this book has been written on the assumption that the reader will be looking for promotion. However, not every teacher wants promotion, which often means less time in the classroom. If you are not seeking promotion, or if you have not decided if you want promotion, this final chapter looks at how to keep yourself fresh and takes a detached look at the advantages and drawbacks of typical promotion moves in the profession.
