Active learning in the community

The CSV Lighthouse Schools developed and tested a number of approaches in the taught and whole curriculum. This included formal lessons, projects and initiatives in school democracy Colne Community School in Brightlingsea, Essex worked closely with CSV and achieved an ambitious range of projects and activities across the life of the school (see Case study 2 below).
