ABSTRACT

The school has been committed to ALC for many years, and worked closely in the mid1990s with CSV and CSV’s US partners to develop a whole-school strategy for ALC. Community involvement is now embedded in the ethos of the school and radiates out from both form and year groups that seek to engender a sense of self, belonging and relationships. In Years 7 and 8 circle time is seen as important in order to give students the chance to reflect together on their experiences at school and to offer appropriate feedback to staff.
