ABSTRACT
This was the main task of the GCSE catering group. Initial planning began in January and by mid-February pupils had decided on the menu, the type of food service, additional entertainment for the elderly after lunch and the invitation design. Invitations were hand-delivered by pupils shortly after halfterm. Pupils then began to allocate different tasks amongst themselves, for example napkin folding, table laying and preparation of drinks for guests upon arrival.
