ABSTRACT
Years ago, when a television screen in a classroom was a novelty, it was more ‘memorable’ than it tends to be today. With television sets everywhere, attitudes to them have changed, and we don’t tend to take much notice of most of what we see on the small screen. For educational television to work, therefore, it is necessary to look carefully at the intended learning outcomes.
