ABSTRACT
Some courses have lectures, seminars and tutorials, and it’s not always clear to learners how these respective teaching/learning situations are different. Probably the main features that distinguish seminars from tutorials are that each seminar is planned around a definite topic or issue, and that learners are progressively expected to prepare themselves to take the lead in seminars.
