ABSTRACT
Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary topic and, as such, requires that practitioners have knowledge of basic techniques from the constituent disciplines. There are several reference works dealing with the different techniques; however, it has been decided to mention some of the routine methods here so that the experiments described in the book can be carried out without reference to numerous other works.
