ABSTRACT
All systems previously discussed which reduce the concentration of intoxicant are also active in detoxification of the bioactivated product. Depending on chemical reactivity, intoxication may take place at the cell site of bioactivation or at some distance in other cells or organs. The following examples illustrate the range of possibilities.
